Presuming that your squirrel is a legally acquired pet, you take it to a veterinarian and find out what is causing the licking problem, and find out what to do to stop it.

If your squirrel was captured or ';adopted'; from the wild, it is an illegal pet and should be turned over to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator to be reconditioned for release back into the wild where it belongs. You can find one here: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.鈥?/a>

These people have the specialized training to care for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals, and they have the required state and federal licenses that allow them to keep the animals until they are healthy enough to be released back into the wild...or in the case of an illegal pet, until they have been reconditioned to survive in the wild.
I think its adorable,It must really trust you. If it starts licking, pull your hand away and say no.Do it over and over again. He'll get it.Good luck!
