15 years i never had any problems with animals now i have problems with squirrels what do i do?

i have this squirrel that always knocks down the top of the bird bath. I always have to refill it with water and the tops heavy to put back on and they are always runnining around the roof. I made sure and always checking for wholes made by the squirrels and i keep patching. Please tell me a old fashion way to get rid of them with out hurting them.15 years i never had any problems with animals now i have problems with squirrels what do i do?

and put some nuts and berries aroung.
